No idea about NIMS, since, the question is about Btech, I would suggest LPU for Btech courses. Kindly specify the programme name of a BTech programme you are interested in so that I can help you with this. Cant say about NIMS which has been ranked below 150, but LPU has been ranked 79th overall ! So, its better to try LPU ! Even the latest and more refined rankings by MHRD through ATAL have ranked LPU among the top band of universities. There are two major points to be noted here, One is that Placement depends on the students equally as on the university, as student has to maintain a good academic record and should add few stars to his/her CV to land up on better placement.
