You can call the institutes that you are targeting and ask them whether there is any age bar. B.Pharm is not counted amongst the conventional medical courses but is a good option that can help you secure a good job once you have completed your graduation. Types of Pharmacy Courses & Duration:

  • Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) – 3 years
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) – 4 years
  • Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) – 2 years

Eligibility to Pursue a Course in Pharmacy:

  • Eligibility for D.Pharm: Students can apply for diploma programme after class 10.
  • Eligibility for B.Pharm: To start out in the field of pharmacy with B.Pharm programme, students must either pursue D.Pharm program or secure at least 50% marks in class 12 board exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
