LPU offers Diploma (Engg.) Mechanical Engineering (ME) and duration of this course is three years. Candidate pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent can apply for this course. There is 5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants. Programme Fee of this course is Rs 50000 without scholarship. Student can also avail scholarship on the basis of percentage in previous qualifying exam, LPUNEST exam , National Level Exams, performance in Innovation, Start-up, Entrepreneurship & Hackathons., basis of Performance in Sports, Cultural, R & D, Co-curricular, Social Service, Bravery Awards, Special scholarship for board toppers, Financial Aid – Need based i.e Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and special categories that includes Single Girl Child, Single Mother, Students from Minorities, Transgender, and Non-Traditional Student, Financial Aid for Serving/Retired Defence/CAPF/Para – Military Personnel and their Dependants, Financial Aid to Persons with certain disability and orphans. LPU ranks 23rd amongst all government and private universities of India as per the world rankings 2023.

LPU offers Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering and for taking admission you must satisfy the following eligibility conditions; Eligibility Criteria Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent. After that register on university website by entering basic details (Name, email ID, Phone NUmber etc) and application ID is generated. Application for Admission Fill the application form. Select your programme from the Available Programme List. Deposit initial payment of Rs.10000 .After the successful realization of the payment: A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID. Upload the documents. Recent Photograph Date of Birth proof (Matric certificate, Aadhaar card) Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ marksheet also. In case the exam certificate/ marksheet is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also. All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines. Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university. Apply LPUNEST (for Scholarship) LPUNEST is an online test for scholarship. Student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test. Deposit the test fee: Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is ₹1000 (for Boys) and ₹500 (for Girls). Cost of Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is ₹1500 (for Boys) and ₹1000 (for Girls). Fill the test application form. Good placements in core company as well as software company.other than participating different events like go kart , project expo, entertainment events like one india , one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also . If i about LPU admission process : The admission process of LPU is hassle-free and the fee of the programmes depends on the programme you choose. To get yourself admitted in diploma mechanical engineering, the eligible criteria for Nilachal polytechnic, Bhubaneshwar are as folows:

  • the candidate has to pass their 10th from BSE. Orissa or equivalent boards.
  • the minimum marks obtained by the student has to be 35%
  • the minimum marks obtained in English, Science subjects and Mathematics should be 30%
  • the minimum age of the candidate has to be 14 years and there is no limit for the upper age
