Hello Srikanth,
At LPU, living in the on-campus hostel is not mandatory. If you want you can opt for residential facilities outside the campus. The university will also help if appropriate, to provide residential housing off campus, either independently or through other arrangements. Therefore, you can opt for off-campus accommodation as well as living in an LPU hostel is not compulsory. However, many students prefer staying in the on-campus hostel, as it provides a safe environment and everything from food to extracurricular facilities are made available. If you want you can opt for hostels in LPU with shared rooms. The fees for those are comparatively lesser making it a bit affordable. LPU hostel fees for 2-seater range from Rs 1 to Rs 1.20 lakh per annum. Similarly Rs 90,000 to Rs 1.15 lakh per annum for 3-seater, Rs 80,000 to Rs 90,000 per annum for 4-seater, and Rs 75,000 to Rs 80,000 per annum for 5 and 6-seater rooms.
