At LPU the MBA in hospitality and tourism management programme is meant for the students looking for a leadership role in the tourism and hospitality industry. The course focuses on the development of language skills for academic writing: the language of analysis, evaluation, discussion, description, and reflection. Introduction to tourism destinations worldwide and their geography, introduction to basics of computer software and hardware, IT, internet and networking with special reference to online reservation software and their application in Tourism and hospitality industry is also given. Accounting and group behaviour is also taught. The NIRF ranking of LPU in the management programs is 37. 6 LPA was the highest salary package 3.2 is the average salary package.
