Dear candidates, as per the latest UGC (University Grants Commission) guidelines in India, a full-time or distance learning LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree cannot be pursued alongside any other full-time graduate or postgraduate degree. This means that if you are already pursuing a graduation course, you may not be able to enrol in an LLB course simultaneously. Furthermore, the Bar Council of India does not recognise distance education degrees for LLB. This means that a distance LLB degree would not allow you to practise law or sit for judiciary exams in India. You should contact Annamalai University directly for the most accurate information and consult with the Bar Council or judiciary exam bodies of the respective states for their specific eligibility criteria.
