A JEE Main rank of 10,000 in April is quite good, but for Computer Science at DTU in Delhi it is on the borderline rather than a guaranteed seat. For BTech Computer Science at DTU, the closing ranks in recent JAC Delhi counselling rounds have usually been around 6,000-7,000 for the All India quota and roughly 13,000-15,000 for the Delhi quota in later or spot rounds.

This means that if you are in the General category and fall under the AI quota, a 10,000 rank gives you a slim chance for CSE and you are more likely to get a slightly lower branch like IT or ECE at DTU. However, if you are in the General category but come under the Delhi quota, a 10,000 rank makes CSE at DTU a realistic possibility, especially in Round 2-5 or spot counselling, though it still depends on that year’s competition and seat availability.
