I missed the APRDC CET. What should be my next step?

If you have missed the APRDC CET (Andhra Pradesh Residential Degree College Common Entrance Test), unfortunately, you will not be able to get admission into APRDC for this academic year, as the entrance exam is mandatory for selection. However, you still have a few options. First, keep an eye on the official APRDC or APREIS website to check if any spot admissions, second-phase counseling, or waiting list opportunities are announced. Occasionally, such chances are given if seats remain vacant. Second, you can consider applying to other government or private degree colleges in Andhra Pradesh through AP EAMCET (if applicable) or direct admissions, which many colleges allow based on your Intermediate marks. Additionally, some private residential degree colleges also offer quality education and facilities similar to APRDC.

If you are still eligible by age and academic year, and you want to study at APRDC specifically, you can plan to prepare for next year’s exam with a strong focus on your Intermediate subjects and general aptitude. Though missing the exam is disappointing, there are still good paths available to continue your higher education.
