The number of MNCs to recruit the Civil and Mechanical Engineering students touched 30+ which selected more than 278 students during campus placement sessions last year. Engineering programmes are the heart of any institution and so is of LPU. There is no point to compare because every organisation is just doing good at their places but yes I have heard alot about LPU because of its good number of years of establishment and the rankings it possess. Last year my friend wanted to admit his son in good engineering institute. After lot of inquiry, we decided to opt for LPU. As we all know that B. Hello! Placements at LPU is always applauded. With best of my knowledge, I am sharing the major placement highlights. LPU is good in case of placement but if we talk about the placement in Mechanical branch. In Mech the no of students placed in Core company like Honda,Cheema Boilers etc. If we take a look of last year students placed in recent batch:- 1.Honda-2 students at 8 lakh 2. Cheema Boilers=around 7 or 8 students selected as a Trainee Many students got placed in Anglo-Eastern i.e Merchant Navy,and some students in Samundra which is also a Merchant Navy Institute. Hettich India and Giga solar selected 11 students from Mechanical Engineering for package worth 5.0 Lacks and 2.4 Lacks for on job trainings. students have got top packages from leading tech companies. Students of Mechanical engineering are placed in Honda, VOLTAS, XL Dynamics, Anglo Eastern Ship Management, Hero MotoCorp, Hyundai Constructions, and many more. With the guidance of great faculties, Sunny Kumar Gupta, a student of the Mechanical Engineering of LPU bagged 61st rank in GATE 2018 amongst the 2,00,000 students that appeared for the exam. My cousin sister done her graduation from LPU and she was placed in a reputed organization with handsome package. She was placed from LPU before completion of her study. LPU is an international university with 700+ industrial tie ups such as Tech Mahindra, TATA, Jindal Steels, DLF, Maruti, BOSCH, Kirloskar, Siemens. Due to these tie-ups the academic and placement process of university is excellent with excellent track records. The average package of Mechanical graduate is 7 to 8 LPA.
