Dear Student,

The eligibility criteria for admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course in India are:

  • Class 12th with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as the main subjects
  • 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam (the percentage may be higher depending on the college)
  • Some colleges may also require candidates to have studied English as a subject

Pursuing MBBS in India as a private candidate can prove to be quite expensive. A fee Rs. 50 lakhs to 80 lakhs for the entire course is quite normal. To provide an exact fee structure, we would need you to mention the name of the college in the question itself.

For your reference, here is a list of colleges offering MBBS in India. Please use the filters to shortlist the colleges that match your requirements and write back to us for more information about MBBS admissions in India.

Thank you.
