Why can't I find Swami Vivekananda University's name in the membership list of AIU? What is the university's grade as per NAAC?

Not all universities are there in the membership list of AIU and SVU doesn't have NAAC accreditation at the moment but that is under process. Swami Vivekananda University has been recognised by the government of West Bengal. Also, as per the law, universities do not require AICTE approval and only the institutes which are affiliated to the universities require AICTE approval. SVU is a bonafide university established by a state act.

The university has state-of-the-art facilities and smart classrooms so if you are thinking of applying at the university, you can go ahead as it is a good university which offers quality education.
