Dear student,

If you ae interested in becoming a Software Engineer, you will need to do a B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering. For this, you will have to give one or some of the various engineering entrance exams in India like JEE, BITS, VITEEE etc. 

To be eligible for the engineering entrance exams, you should have studied Science in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognised board. Once you get your rank (of the entrance exams) then depending on your rank, you will need to attend the Counselling Process to know which colleges you are eligible to apply at. Once you take your pick, then you can take admission in the best B. Tech college in India as per your capability & interest. Good luck!

Courses LPU offers a lot of courses B.Tech , MBA, Hotel Management and LL.B are some of the popular courses. When students of so many streams interact with each other it helps in expanding the mind not only in the course the student is currently pursuing but also in other courses. Faculty Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT,NIT, IIM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have a decade of experience. The faculty is really helpful. Even they help students after regular university hours In every section they have 40–60 Students which helps teachers to focus on focus on each student. Placements On average, more than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU.LPU provides placements to the maximum it has record-breaking placements in MBA approximately 98% of students got placed in top companies in the year 2020. As per my perception if you wanna getting admission in LPU you have you fulfil the eligibility criteria: Pass with 70% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. This is the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. One of my friend studied CSE from LPU told that this year the eligibility due to COVID-19 is relaxed and is currently kept as 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPUNEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPUNEST. Computer Science Engineering Programmes of LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The eligibility criteria are as follows for CSE: You should be pass with 60% marks in 10+2. Check out the full eligibility on the official website. It would also be nice if you qualify for LPU NEST which is the scholarship test provided by LPU. LPU NEST is a great examination.
