Sir, I have scored 49.2% in Matric / Class 10th. Will I be able to take admission in Class 11?

Dear Student,

You will be able to take admission to Class 11 but your admission will depend on the following:

• In which school you want to take admission
• In which stream you want to take admission

Different schools have different requirements for admission. For example, the admission requirement in Kendriya Vidyalaya for Class 11 is:

• For Science stream: 60% marks in Class 10
• For Commerce stream: 55% marks in Class 10
• For Humanities stream: Passing marks in Class 10

Other schools may have higher requirements such as 90% marks in class 10 for science stream.  You can also check these other courses that you can do after completing Class 10.
