After the supreme court of India criticized their decision of the maximum age limit of 20 years for taking admission to the 5-year integrated law degree, Bar Council of India as an interim measure decided to increase the upper age limit for 5-year LLB course from 20 to 22, and for 3-year LLB from 30 to 45.

Dear Student,

In most of the law universities, there is no upper age limit set to pursue an LLB course in India. However, few law colleges do have a maximum age limit and it varies from college to college. Generally, it is 30 for unreserved categories and 35 for reserved categories. Any student with a graduation degree can go for an LLB course.

Some of the top colleges offering LLB Admissions are Shyam University (SU), Dausa, Amity University, Gwalior, Invertis University, Bareilly, NIMS University, Jaipur, CT University (CTU), Ludhiana, Ansal University [AU], Gurgaon etc.

To take admission in any desired LLB college, either dial 1800-572-9877 or fill the Common Application Form of CollegeDekho. For more queries, do write back in the QnA zone.

Thank You
