Which iit can I get admission in with jam rank 797 under general category

As a General category student with an IIT JAM rank of 797, your best possible options would be any of the newer or mid-tier IITs, like IIT Bhilai, IIT Jammu, IIT Palakkad, or IIT Tirupati, as top-tier institutes usually close admission at a much lower rank. You are much more likely to get a seat in subjects like Geology or Chemistry, while core programs, such as Physics and Mathematics may be more competitive. You might have to wait around for later rounds of counselling or consider interdisciplinary programs at IIT Dhanbad or IIT Bhubaneswar.
