Abhishek Rathour is a passionate & creative individual with more than five years of experience in content writing. Having worked for US, UK, and Australian clients, he has immense experience with client interaction and drafting content. He has also worked as a CCE (Customer Care Executive) for almost a year post completion of college. An avid lover of sci-fi and detective movies & novels, Abhishek loves spending his free time playing computer games and browsing YouTube for various technological & historical videos.

Abhishek completed his bachelor's in English Honours from Maharaja Manindra Chandra College, Calcutta University. Post his graduation, Abhishek started working as a CCE (Customer Care Executive) for IBM Daksha where he was accountable for handling UK & US-based inbound calls and troubleshooting the technical issues through remote access. Taking a break from his job and dedicating his time to giving tuitions in English, History, Geography, and Hindi, he did freelance content writing that allowed him to get prepared for the career ahead.

After two to three years, he initiated his content writing career with TS Web Technologies. As a content writer here, his job was to create unique SEO-based & website content for Australian clients. He also handled writing content for the sister vertical of the company – a travel & tourism site focused on various tourist destinations of Bengal. After leaving the company for better opportunities, Abhishek Rathour joined MET Technologies as an Executive Content Writer. Here, apart from writing content for UK-based clients, he was allocated the added responsibility of handling two team members & assisting them in their respective tasks. He also worked as a writer for the company’s in-house mobile app development team and was also entrusted to handle the entire content requirements for a big Sri Lankan client.

He has always been displaying efficiency & professionalism in the creation of content, along with maintaining a healthy relationship with team members & even with cross-functional teams. Later in search of more fruitful job prospects, he tried applying for content writing jobs outside Kolkata.

Post several interviews, he bagged one excellent opportunity in the form of Technical Writer with NIIT, Gurgaon. Here, the job role was focused on working with videos related to hardcore technical tutorials. The aim was to capture all the undescribed actions & other unspoken things in word form and record the same in audio format to allow visually impaired people to understand what is the presenter explaining. He also worked on creating subtitles for the videos, along with fresh transcripts for videos and proofreading them. The next step in his career was with EyeMyEye.com (formerly known as Coolwinks.com). Here, he was delegated with the task of drafting articles, blogs, guest posts, mailers, and short social content, along with writing unique product descriptions.

In terms of professional achievements, Abhishek bagged 1st prize in Draw Your Boss contest and 1st Prize in the Counter-Strike Inter-department tournament in MET Technologies. In NIIT, he was awarded Performer of The Quarter.

During his free time, Abhishek loves playing mobile & computer games and spending time with his little daughter. He even loves making walkthrough videos of games that are yet to be published on YouTube. A lover of classic Bollywood movies & songs, Abhishek believes that nothing can beat the soothing effect of old melodies. He strongly believes patience is the key to success and has always kept his cool during high-pressure work environments.
