My first cousin did MBA from LPU. Initially she had a confusion whether she should join LPU or not because she had qualified CAT that too with good percentile. She could easily get seat in any good elite B-school, but she choose LPU after talking to her senior who had completed MBA from LPU and placed in a top ranking MNC and that too on a lucrative package. She was worried about reviews but then Her senior told her that If you ask someone who was not eligible for in campus placements will say that placements or college is not good and person will find faults in everything. He suggested her not to invest so much (15–20 lacs) On MBA when majority of people are getting 5–7 Lacs as compensatory package. He suggested that LPU is worth Joining as it pays better returning in terms of education and jobs. She told few points and i hope those will help you to make the decision: Faculty: Most of faculty members are from IIM or from elite B- Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. Faculty was really helping. Even they helped her after regular university hours for her projects. Standard of students: They did not compromise on the quality of the students. They have a rigorous admission process. Admission can be taken if you have good percentage and you have good percentile in entrance + marks in interview. Courses offered: They have ample of specializations in MBA and also provides dual specializations. Batch size: In every section they had 40–60 Students. Placements: University provides with opportunities and it's up to the students to grab it. My cousin got placed in the very first drive of placementsthat too on package of 15.20LPA.
