Do you have a separate girls hostel facility with food? When will the admission start? I am looking for B.Arch,2022-23

I am an alumini of LPU and would like to tell that we have 8 boys and 6 girls hostel in the campus. 1- If you are a male you have 24+7 access to entry and exit in the hostel and for girls it id 7pm for last entry. (for security purposes) . However liabrary access for them is open at defined hours after 7 pm along with the guards 2- Your entry and exit would be governed by your fingerprint and ID card which makes it a very secure environment. 3- You have free access 24*7 for the internet but strict actions for using any unadvisable sites. 4- We have a internal student portal called UMS where you can mark any complaint ,requests or leaves in the system. 5- Non veg is not allowed in the hostel. It is little weird but LPU says we believe in respect of every religion and caste so I think it is fair enough as we have a separate canteen for non veg where you are free to go and eat. 6- We have innumerable kiosks in and around the campus for mouth watering food. 7- We have a Uni hospital in the campus, so in case of any sickness or emergency the ambulance is at the hostel gate in no time 8- They have cameras installed all over the hostel including each corridor which helps with a better security overall. 9- The basic necessity shops and parlours are there inside the girls hostel too. There are many girls staying at the LPU who are doing diploma. If you are worried about the security of girls in the hostel let me assure you the girls are safe inside the hostel. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girl's hostel. The campus is ragging-free, tobacco-free, and drug-free so there is no need to fear. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Resident girl students are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point in time. They have to seek permission from the university and the university informs their parents about their leaves and moves. No one can breach the security of the hostel as neither are the boys allowed to enter the girls' hostel nor the walls of the hostel can be climbed as they are very high. Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This does give a feeling of prison as the students say in jest but it's for their safety. This is the reason why we don't come across any untoward incidents.The B.Arch course at university is CoA (Council Of Architechture) approved. It offers elite architectural education and nourishes students with designing and software skills. NIRF (Ministry of education ) has ranked LPU as 12th among Architecural institutions of India. The programme results in Comprehension of design approach and inter-relationship of function, circulation, structure, material and construction, climatology, services, form, aesthetics and apply the knowledge in built environment. Interpret the facet of architectural design and urban realm context through schematic drawings, project report, physical model and 3 D visualizations. Appraise through research, aspects of anthropometry, building technology, materials, structural analysis, history, art, culture, humanities, landscape, assessment methods, architectural computation, management of resources. Evaluate legal and regulatory framework for application in planning and design of architectural and urban scale projects. he LPU architecture programmes are designed and delivered with an objective of wholesome development of students. The highlights include: Seminars and Guest Lectures: Seminars and guest lectures by experienced and professional architects are held frequently to enhance the knowledge of the students. Being a girl. I’ll must say that Lovely Professional University is one of the best university. I can assure you that this university is safest for the girls. A few reasons for this blind assurance are- Safe Transportation Facility for all. Safe Hostels whether we talk of girls or boys. I believe it is safe as there are cctv cameras everywhere in the University. Girls are not allowed to go outside without leave If they want to go outside for any purpose like movie,shopping,etc then they need to apply for day outing. permissions from parents is taken to provide them with the gate pass. outsiders are not allowed to enter in the university premises without having gate pass A proper timing for the girls to report to their hostels is designed to keep them safe. If girls want to visit the library for studying late at night till 12am, In that case, a female guard take and drop those girls from their respective hostels to the library. You can get everything inside the campus, Like shopping mall, Parlour, Food stalls, Gym etc. Thank You!

First most concern for girls is security and safety in hostels, when they are far from their families. I would say that this is the best experience of hostel my sister daughter ever had . she love share her daily routine with me . Everything is provided inside the hostels that you don't have to look for basic needs any where else. Personal grooming to fitness to canteens to mess to laundry, everything is provided inside. Along with this large and beautiful gardens with basketball courts are also provided. When a girls wants to go out of campus for hangouts, they are asked to apply online at least 6 hours before they leave , to get approvals from the wardens, then they are given slips that they need to return back in the office after they come, before that texts are sent to parents in order to provide information about where and till when the girl will be staying outside, so that no mis happenings occur. she enjoyed a lot hostels, even the cleanliness is great, rooms and corridors are cleaned everyday twice.

Yes, there is a girls' hostel with food facility in Bishop Jerome Instiute ( BJGI). The hostel fees ranges to Rs. 51.99K. The B. Arch NATA application forms are available for 2022-2023.
