I completed B.Tech in 2025 and will join M.Tech via TG PGECET 2026. Is a 1-year gap certificate required for counselling, college admission, and Telangana fee reimbursement? Will this gap affect admission or scholarship?

A gap certificate is not mandatory for participating in the counselling process. However, for college admissions, some institutions may individually ask for a gap affidavit if there is any discrepancy in your documents. On the contrary, for TG PGECET 2026 fee reimbursement, you will need to provide a gap certificate to prove your point. This, however, does not affect your admission or scholarship eligibility.
