I completed my class 12th PCM from CBSE but now I want to prepare for MBBS and so if I take only bio in NIOS then will I be eligible for NEET 2025?? And during counselling will all the colleges approve my NIOS certificate?

Dear Student,

Yes, students can still appear for the NEET Exam 2025 after studying PCM in their class 12 and their NIOS certificate stands valid for qualification. All the NEET participating colleges in India do accept NIOS certificates for admissions to MBBS courses and students must appear in their nearest NIOS centre to appear in the biology exams. Qualifying students must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board with 50% in physics, chemistry, mathematics & English and must have a NIOS pass certificate in biology for MBBS course admissions. At the time of the application process, students must submit their 10+2 certificates along with the application form as proof of their education and their NIOS certificate with other required documents.

Thank You!
