Dear student,
First of all, you should have studied Science subjects in your Class 12 with a subject combination of Maths, Physics, Chemistry. Score well, and give any of the engineering entrance exams in India to be eligible to apply to engineering colleges in India. Some of the popular exams include - JEE Mains, JEE Advanced (for IIT's, NIT's, IIIT's etc), BITSAT, VITEEE, WBJEE, MHT CET etc.
Depending on your entrance exam score, you will get a ranking, basis which, you will be called for the Counselling Process. Basis that, you can take admission in colleges. The fee for engineering varies with college.
For Private Colleges - Rs. 2.5 Lakhs per year
For Government Colleges - Rs. 50, 000 - Rs. 75, 000 Lakhs per year
