Dear Student,
Belonging to a medical background is not a necessity to join the dietician field in India. One can look into colleges offering Food and Nutrition / Food Technology / Processing courses in India. There are Certificate, Bachelor of Arts (BA) as well as Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes which can help you begin a career as a Dietician/Nutritionist.
On a related note, you may also want to look into taking up a career as a Food Technologist.
If you need further help with admissions, please feel free to fill our Common Application Form or reach out to us at 1800-572-9877.
Thank you.
