Dear student,
In order to be eligible for admission to the postgraduate courses of design at National Institute of Design (NID), Bangalore, you must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant specialisation of design. Since you do not have a bachelor's degree in design, you are not eligible for admission to the National Institutes of Design (NIDs). You might, however, be able to appear for design entrance exams like NID DAT or UCEED for admission to UG courses of design.
There are many diploma courses in design that you can check out for enrolling in. These courses do not have strict rules regarding the academic background and stream of a candidate and provide admission even if a candidate does not come from an educational background of design. You can go through the following links to get a better idea of these courses.
You can fill the Common Application Form (CAF) to find the ideal design course and college for yourself. An admissions expert will be assigned to you who will provide complete assistance in the admission process. You can also give a call on the student helpline number (toll-free) 1800-572-9877 and speak to the counsellors directly.
Do write back to us if you have any other queries or doubts.
Thank you.
