Shihezi University is one of the 45 universities in China that have been allowed to teach MBBS in English. The School of Medicine at Shihezi University is a part of its oldest colleges and is quite popular for MBBS among Indian aspirants. Since you have already passed the NEET exam, you are eligible to study MBBS in China.

To apply to Shihezi University, follow the steps given below:

  1. Apply Online: The Application Form is available on the university website. You have to fill the application form and contact the Admissions Office at Shihezi University.
  2. To be eligible for entry into an MBBS course at Shihezi University, you must:
    • Be over 18 years of age
    • Have passed Class 12th in the Science stream and show a good record in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics.
  3. Submit Documents: The following documents need to be submitted along with the application form for admission into MBBS course at Shihezi University:
    • Class 10th Marksheet
    • Class 12th Marksheet/Certificate
    • School Leaving Certificate
    • Scanned copy of your passport
    • Physical Examination Record (not older than six months)
    • Police Clearance Letter from your local police station
    • Guarantee Letter

Please note that the MBBS sessions at Shihezi University start in the month of October and all formalities, including submission of all documents, must be completed before mid-July.

The total fee for a 5-year MBBS course at Shihezi University is around Rs. 18,85,000.
