3 years and 4 years hotel management : some of the collages are giving 3 years of hotel management and some are giving 4 years of hotel management..which course is better ...is both are same...like IIHM is giving 3 years and AIMS is giving 4 Years

Eligibility and Entrance Exam:

Diploma in Hotel Management:

  • Student can pursue Diploma in Hotel Management after passing class 10 exams.
  • Some of the state-level colleges will provide admission in diploma programmes on the basis of marks scored in state-level diploma entrance exams.

Undergraduate Courses:

  • In order to pursue undergraduate programmes in Hotel Management, candidates must have passed class 12 with 50% aggregate marks.
  • For BHM programme, you will also be required to clear entrance exams like NCHMCT JEE.

Post-Graduate Courses:

  • You can apply for post-graduate programmes after you have successfully completed your graduation with at least 45% marks.
  • Some of the top Hotel Management institutes admit students on the basis of PG entrance exams.

Certificate Courses:

  • No entrance exam is required to enroll for this programme and student can pursue certificate at any point of their education after completing class 12.
