Aindrila is a passionate writer, currently working as a Senior Content Writer in the Commerce, Education and Law streams at CollegeDekho. In the 3+ years as an ed-tech specialist, she has experience in writing blogs, newsletters and articles for Marketing and Education fields. Her expertise in creating articles that provide vital information about cutoff, admission process, criteria, fee structure, etc. has resulted in wider coverage, helping many students struggling with indecisiveness regarding their higher education. Apart from articles, Aindrila has also covered analyses of various exams such as CLAT, Bihar B.Ed CET, AILET, MH CET Law, etc. She is also adept at short-form content and has written several web stories and guest posts for the website. Aindrila’s verdicts on various colleges and their admission process aim to help students decide the best option for themselves as a result of her thorough research skills. She has also published many videos explaining course details, exam particulars, eligibility criteria, etc.

Born and brought up in Kolkata, Aindrila pursued B.Sc Economics (Hons.) from the University of Calcutta. She further completed her MA in Development Studies from IGNOU and also did a 120-Hour TESOL Certificate Course from the International Open Academy. From dreaming of becoming an Economist to becoming a Content Writer, it was a long journey. Her interest in writing, looking into minute details while reading books and providing value to all students made her a Content Writer today. 

Aindrila is an introverted extrovert who loves to read books, paint, watch rom-coms while having popcorn and spend time with her family and friends. She is a travel enthusiast who loves the serene mountains. Since she loves to share her thoughts, she is mostly seen with a diary and a pen even while travelling. While in school, she used to take part in cultural programmes and inter-school competitions while managing her studies. She is usually a soft-spoken girl but was a very good debater in her school. She loves to paint during her leisure time, Jamini Roy being her favourite painter. During her college days, she used to take part in extracurricular activities. Besides her activities, she used to teach young kids of different classes. For the last 10 years, she has been giving tuition classes to around 10-15 students and has worked in different NGOs. This has given her hands-on experience with students and she has a good understanding of their psyche with respect to higher education.  

Aindrila started her career by writing blogs for blue-collar workers in the USA and Canada. She worked for Tutree Inc. as a Content Writer & Team Lead for 8 months where she used to write blogs on Uber drivers, Amazon warehouse workers, Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, Truck drivers and on general topics as well. Almost 50 blogs that she has written were published on Medium. She is a team person and was working with 15 interns to help them become future content writers. As a Content Writer, she was responsible for curating quality content with a thorough analysis that would drive traffic to the website. Aindrila was given the ‘Dedicated Employee’ award for her dedication and commitment to her work. 

Aindrila lives by the quote of Sylvia Plath - “The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt”. She believes one should take chances and explore rather than doubt their own self. Being a travel fanatic, she would love to explore her skills on travel blogs in the future. She believes there is no end to learning and with every write-up, she is polishing her writing skills.
