0Dear student,
There are many law entrance exams that are conducted for shortlisting students for the three year UG course of Bachelor of Law (LL.B). However, the selection process adopted by different law colleges in India varies from each other. Some colleges conduct their own entrance exams like Symbiosis Law School organises the exam of SLAT, BHU conducts BHU UET, etc. Whereas certain institutes consider national level law exams like CLAT, LSAT India, AILET, etc. for shortlisting students.
There are many law colleges which select students on the basis of their merit in the qualifying degree. These institutions prepare a merit list based on the aggregate scores of all applicants in their graduation degree and conduct LLB admissions accordingly. Therefore, please let us know the college in which you seek admission in order to know the selection process of it. There are many private law universities that you can check for taking admission.
If you have not figured out the college from which you wish to pursue LLB, fill the Common Application Form (CAF). This will help you to apply to multiple colleges and avail the benefits of personal counselling. You can also call on the toll-free number 1800-572-9877 and speak to our counsellors directly.
Thank you.
