Dear Student,

You can certainly join Diploma in Electrical Engineering after completing your ITI degree. Since you will join Diploma after completing your ITI, you will be eligible for lateral entry admission. This means that you will be directly admitted to the 2nd year of your Diploma course, making it a total of 2 year's degree. In order to join the Diploma, you must have acquired a minimum of 40% aggregate in the final exam with no backlogs. Once you fulfill all the Diploma eligibility requirements, you can apply for admission. There are various Polytechnic Colleges in India that provide admission to the Diploma course after ITI.
