Institute of Engineering & Technology, Alwar is the first self-financed college of Rajasthan. It was established in the 1998 at Alwar and managed by All India Society for Advanced Education & Research.
Institute obtained affiliation from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur on 04 August, 1998.
The Institute In-association with Board of Apprenticeship Training, Jaipur, Government of Rajasthan successfully organized a mega "JOB FAIR-2016" on August 5th , 2016. 20
Several reputed companies were present in the job fair. Some of these companies were -

- Century Autotech
- Amtek etc.
Besdies that several industrioesa from Alwar, Bhiwadi and Neemrana Industrial Area were also present in the job fair. More than 1000 students from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and NCR enrolled for interview and around 190 students were selected.
