110 students and teachers will work for 1 year.

Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth (JRNRV) University started a campaign “Smart Traffic Sense in Smart City peoples” on from 2nd June, 2016.

Under this campaign there were 100 students from UG department will work for 1 year to bring awareness in peoples of Udaipur for traffic sense under the guidance of 10 faculties from university.

Vice Chancellor of JRNRVU, Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot informed that Vidhyapeeth will work on 15 main key points for developing the traffic sense in smart city. We took 3-3 suggestions from the vice chancellors of MPUAT (Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology), MLSU (Mohan Lal Sukhadia University) and RGTU (Rajiv Gandhi Tribal University) that, How we can develop traffic sense in Lakecity?

For this campaign, Universities 110 students and teachers will do publicity with members of different NGO’s n Lakecity. On every Sunday students will go in different area of city’s one by one and will distribute pamphlet’s. Pamphlets has messages like Always wear helmet when driving, Use sit belt, Don’t drink and drive etc.

Prof. Sarangdevot also added that we will conduct two rallies; in which 8th class school students also participate and will appeal to peoples to follow the traffic rules. After success of this campaign, we will write a letter to UGC (University Grant Commission) for this campaign model and recommend UGC for applying this model in other universities too, by which we can decrease the road accident.

In college, we also apply this model, after new session in July, wearing helmet will be compulsory fo two wheeler owner. If anyone breaks the rule, we will send notices to their parents. One day in a week, students also will aware about traffic sense at hotels, malls, Lakes, Sukhadia Circle, Railway Stations, Bus stations and other picnic and tourist spots.
