The 20th Convocation of Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) New Delhi held May 9, 2016. Commencing its convocation ceremony, FIIB Executive Director, Ms. Radhika Shrivastava delivered the welcome address congratulating the graduates for their efforts and the accomplishment.
V Vaidyanathan, Founder and Executive Chairman, Capital First Limited, was the Chief Guest and delivered the convocation address. Giving examples from thought-provoking and famous books and movies such as The Social Network and Forest Gump, V Vaidyanathan encouraged students to train themselves and their minds by believing in their abilities and having a right attitude towards learning and their contribution to the organizations they will be working with.
8 Medals for scholastic and all-round performance were given away at the ceremony. Each of these medals aims to recognize students who show exemplary dedication towards studies and a focused approach towards learning new concepts, quick to understand their limitation and work on them.
The 111 beaming graduates pledged to uphold the responsibility that each of them was being placed with, to be the change agents in the organizations, and the society at large.

About Mr. V Vaidyanathan:
He is an alumnus of Birla Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School and is a regular contributor on Financial and Banking matters in India and international forums. His career journey has been a long and successful story of bringing monumental change in the retail banking industry and he and his organizations have received a large number of domestic and international awards including-
