Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering has always trying to promote cultural activities and to provide the best platform to students.

The institute properly plans, coordinates and controls cultural activities of the students. They offer guidance to students to participate in various competitions, supervise and ensure that students take part in major cultural events such as ‘Purushottam karandak’ and ‘Firodiya karandak’ and other prestigious competitions.

The college authority also arranges facilities to the students for preparation and practice. Besides that, the college authority strictly monitor and maintain utmost discipline during the practice session. They also provide facilities and opportunities to staff for sports and other related activities

Besides that, the college authority is always monitoring and maintaining utmost discipline during practice, and also providing facilities and opportunities to staff for sports and other related activities

Republic Day Celebrated

Every year Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering celebrates republic day with different themes. This year the theme was ‘Save Water”. The Republic Day Function started with the National Flag Hoisting by Shri. V. S. Kalbhor followed by National Anthem. Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering ART CIRCLE presented a small program of Act and Patriotic Songs on the occasion.

Student Participated Gadkari Karandak 2016

A team of ART Circle students participated in prestigious Gadkari Karandak 2016 organised by Akhil Bhartiya Natya Parishad on 18th February 2016.The team got various awards like-

  • Best Set Design- 1st Prize (Nilesh Tepale-TE ENTC and Saurabh Dawale-SE Civil)
  • Best Direction-2nd Prize (Akash Thite-BE Mech)
  • Best Play-3rd Prize (Namrata More-TE ENTC and Akash Thite-BE Mech) for the play “TRUSTBIN” in Gadkari Karandak.

Special program for Deaf and Dumb students of Kaamyaani School

A team of ART CIRCLE students have organised a short program for Deaf and Dumb students of Kaamyani School, Nigdi, Pradhikaran, Pune on 18th February 2016. College students had presented various entertainment and art forms like Children Songs, Dances, One Act Play, and Humorous acts that the school students enjoyed to the full . The Deaf and Dumb students also made handmade cards and presented to PCCoE students. It was a very different and nice exposure for all the art circle students.

Kavi Sammellan organised on Marathi Bhasha Divas

Kavita', Pimpri Chinchwad Trust's, Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Art Circle's students made a sincere attempt to uphold the rich tradition of Marathi language to celebrate “Marathi Bhasha Divas”. Together they organised a Kavi Sammellan-“Majhi Vachleli Kavita” a grand success as a tribute to the Marathi language.

The programme was organised in P.C.C.O.E Seminar Hall from. Those who presented their poems were -

  • Swapna Kulkarni (BE EnTC),
  • Vijendra Singh (BE Comp)
  • Akash Thite (BE Mech)
  • Rutuja Tarale
  • Shubham Alai (SE EnTC)
  • Suyash Salvekar(SE Mech)
  • Tejal Rajput(SE Comp)

The programme was marked by the presence of Principal, Dr. A. M. Fulambarkar, Dean Academics, Dr. J. S. Umale, Dean Student Development and Welfare, Dr. Sheetal Bhandari and Head of Cultural Activities, Prof. Anagha Chaudhari. The anchoring was done by Rutuja Pisal (SE Comp), direction by Akash Thite.

Besides, Payal Kharatmol, Nitish Rao(SE Mech), Nilesh Tepale, Raghavendra Satbai(TE EnTC) and other art circle members took quite a lot of efforts to carve out a successful programme. The programme can be termed as a perfect blend of Tradition and Technology.

National Youth Day Celebration

National Youth Day was celebrated on 12th January 2016 by Department of Computer Engineering at PCCoE.

The day was celebrated with the objective to imbibe the students with the philosophy and ideals of the Swami Vivekanand , the man who brought a change in the thought process of the youth.

On the day, Mr Aditya Shinde from Dnyanprabodhini Pune has delivered session as” Ashi Jaguya 50 varsha” to students. He also discussed many inspirational incidences of Swamiji's Life to motivate the students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Faculty Coordinator of Art circle (Comp) Mrs. Shailaja Pede.
