CSE Department of NEC Organizes Guest Lecture
The Computer Science Department of Narasaraopeta Engineering College organized a guest lecture on 17-May-2016. The guest lecture is part of the Big Data Analytics workshop which is being organised by the Computer Science department for the past 6 days. Professors from various Universities have participated in the workshop so far.
The guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Venkateswarlu. He has done his post-doctoral fellowship from London Leeds University. He delivered guest lecture on ‘R’ Computer Language. He said that “There would be enormous changes in the technology in the coming generations. In the olden days the scientist used to do experiments in the labs. But in the modern age the experiments are being done on the basis of computer simulation. American NASA scientists’ conduct experiments on the basis of Proton Operating System which is also known as ‘R’ Computer Language. Through ‘R’ Language typical computer tasks can be done very easily”.
He clarified the doubts of the students and gave them a brief insight of ‘R’ Language through power point presentation. The guest lecturer was felicitated by HOD of CSE department NS Tirumala Rao. The guest lecture was attended by the faculty of CSE department, students, eminent scholars, print and electronic media.
