Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, invites application for Non-Residential, Short term course starting from 3-5 December 2015
The course aims to help the early stage Ph.D. researchers in management or social sciences to understand the fundamentals and nuances of research to advance their academic career. The participants shall be exposed to: stages in research, process of reviewing literature, different types of methods available to collect and analyze the data, publication of findings and undertaking industry or policy relevant research.
The course will consist of lectures and interactive group exercises in the class room. The lectures shall be delivered by IIT Delhi faculty members and a few guest speakers from industry or academia, including Prof. Sushil, Prof. Ravi Shankar, Dr. SP Singh, Dr. Vigneswara, and Dr. Arpan Kar.
The course is designed for the young academics / faculty members who are planning to pursue PhDs in management, social sciences or related disciplines. Early stage Ph.D. students are also welcome.
The last date of submission application 20th November 2015, 5 PM. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email. The number of seats is limited to 30.
The course fee is Rs. 12,000 per participant. It can be paid in DD, in favor of “REGISTRAR, IIT DELHI”.
