KTET exam is scheduled to be conducted on the 4th and 5th May 2022. The application form was available from 9th to 19th Feb and the admit card was released on 25th April 2022. Candidates can download their admit card by visiting their official website- ktet.kerala.gov.in and logging in using ID and password.

KTET Exam 2022: Marking Scheme

KTET exam has four categories- category I, II, III, and IV. All the categories will have MCQ-based questions and candidates will get 2 hours 30 minutes or 150 minutes in total to answer all the questions. There is no negative marking for any wrong answer. 

  • Category I - Lower Primary Class (Class I to V)

There are 5 sections in total and 30 MCQs will be asked from each section. Each question will contain 1 mark and the total number of marks is 150. 

  • Category II - Upper Primary Class (Class VI-VIII)

Four sections are there in this category. 3 subjects will have 30 marks each whereas the mathematics/ science/ social science section will consist of 60 questions. Total 150 questions will be asked. 

  • Category III - High School Class (Class IX to X)

There are 3 sections in this category comprising of 30, 40, and 80 questions in each category. 150 questions will be asked in total for 150 marks. 

  • Category IV - High School Class (Language Teacher)

Again, 3 sections comprising of 30, 40, and 80 marks each. 150 questions will be asked in total for 150 marks. 

Last Minute Preparation Tips for KTET 2022

Here are the last minute preparation tips for KTET exam 2022. 

  • Revise, revise, revise

Revision is the key of not forgetting things at the last moment. Keep revising chapter and avoid solving new questions. Keep revising the old ones and solve only the those you're uncertain about. 

  • Focus on your strong areas

At this point, it's not worth to focus on your weaknesses. Instead, focus on what you're good at and what is scoring. Keep them in mind or create small notes related to them. 

  • Give Tests

Give some mock tests or solve sample papers just to examine how well you're doing. Solving them last minute will help in examining your strenghts. 

  • Take proper rest

After exhausting yourself with so much scrutiny, take some time out to relax and rest. It is very essential a day before the examination so that you're not tired on the exam day.
