Millions spend on sports but universities were failed get medals.

Adding government and private universities, there are total of 8 universities is currently working in Udaipur division. After spending millions on games, most universities proving to be swept into the fray. If we see last four year results, only MLSU (Mohan Lal Sukhadia Unversity) has been able to perform better.

Every month millions are spending on maintenance of sport grounds and trainers by government universities. There has come big difference now between amounts spent on sports and achievement in sports. There was no participation from Rajiv Gandhi Tribal University in national games in last three years. And same as this, MPUAT (Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology) failed to get any medal or prize on national level in last four years.

In private universities, games are completely marginalized in private universities. None of the private universities won any national level medal or west zone medal. According to UGC (University Grant Commission), universities with innovative programs and high level research should also focus on Games development. In many exams, marking done according to sports achievement.

In inter university competition 2016, MPUAT won silver medal in Tennis, Bronze medal in Discus throw. In west zone, university won gold medal in Chess. From 2012 to 2016, MPUAT failed to get any award in national level games.

In three year of establishment Rajiv Gandhi Tribal University results were zero in sports. Far from winning a medal, no sports teams are ready yet for any of the game. University neither has its own sports ground nor any proper sports equipment.
