Mphasis has collaborated with NSRCEL, the start-up incubation centre at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B). The collaboration is a part of its Social Venture Incubation Program and aims to support social ventures that are at its initial stage.
According to the official release of IIM-B, the aim of the program is to support the social ventures that have been in operation since on to three years. It also aims to make start-ups and ventures financially sustainable and scalable models in the field of education, healthcare and livelihood.

As of now, the Social Venture Program at IIMB has received over 550 applications. Out of these, 16 start-ups are selected for the three-month pre-incubation program.
The selected ventures were also provided with an opportunity to pitch before an advisory council for the selection in the incubation program. The incubation program will be for a period of 12 to 18 months.

As a part of the program, they will also get an entrepreneurial grant and they will be supported through events and workshops whose main aim will be to address specific challenges like health care, education and the ones that require assistance.
