NIMCET Result 2023 Releasing TomorrowNIMCET Result 2023 Releasing Tomorrow: The National Institute of Technology will release the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) result tomorrow online at @nimcet.in. Candidates who appeared for the NIMCET 2023 examination on June 11 will be able to check their scorecards and evaluate their performance in the test tomorrow. After the NIMCET 2023 result is released, the qualified candidates will be able to sit for the NIMCET 2023 counselling. The candidates will get seats based on the scores achieved in the entrance examination.
NIMCET 2023: Marking Pattern
The merit list will be created based on the NIMCET 2023 marking pattern below:
For the 12 marks question, candidates will get 12 marks for the right answer, and 3 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
For 6 marks questions, candidates will get 3 marks for the right answer, and 1.5 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
For 4 marks questions, candidates will get 2 marks for the right response, and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.
NIMCET 2023: Tie-Breaking Criteria
If two candidates attain the same marks, the authorities will implement the following procedures to formulate the merit list:
The applicant scoring more in Mathematics will be given priority.
If the tie persists, then the applicant scoring more in Logical Reasoning will be considered.
If the tie still persists, the applicant with more marks in Computer awareness will be prioritized.
Finally, if the tie still persists, the older candidate will be given the higher rank.
