From the upcoming academic session, i.e., 2021-22, the mode of the admission process for Intermediate (Inter) courses in Andhra Pradesh (AP) will be online, and every student will have appeared/ passed Class 10th (SSC) exams will have to participate in the online counselling process conducted by Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) Andhra Pradesh. All the intermediate colleges whether it is government or private will accept only admissions for the first-year intermediate, and private colleges will only have to charge the fees specified by the AP government. The admissions are based on merit, i.e., marks scored by candidates in AP SSC Exams. Reservation policy will be applied to seats available across government and private colleges.

AP Inter Online Admission Process 2021 – Rules & Regulations
The Board of Intermediate Education of AP has confirmed the rules and regulations for the first-year Intermediate online admissions.
- AP Inter Board will collect the data of Class 10th students from SSC board, and link the same for the online admissions for Inter courses.
- The board will release an official schedule or dates for admission process, and students will have to register through the official website of the board with their SSC Hall Ticket number or Aadhaar Number.
- Students who are unable to fill online forms through the official website can directly visit the nearest Grama Sachivalayam or Ward Sachivalayam for registration.
- The fee structure of various Inter colleges will be displayed on the screen, and the students are free to choose any college.
- Each student will be allowed to choose a minimum of five choices or options while filling the online form.
- The fees for AP Inter Exams will be collected at the time of online registration only.
- BIEAP may conduct at least three rounds of counselling/ online admission process for Inter Admissions.
