Pailan College of Management and Technology (PCMT) organised an interactive Workshop on Computer Science on March 28th, 2016. The Workshop held at the main campus of the college in Kolkata.The workshop was mainly focused on the current development and recent trends in Computer Science and its growing career prospects.
The College offers courses in the domain of Management, Engineering & Information Technology. The college was established in the year 2002 under the Pailan group to meet the skilled manpower needs of industry across the nation. PCMT is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by Department of Technical Education (DTE). Major emphasis is laid on accentuation of soft skills through workshops and active classroom interactions at regular intervals of time. Students from diverse backgrounds from all over the country come in to prepare themselves for the global market in terms of professional conduct. PCMT was setup with the aim of empowering students and brushing their skills up, in every walk of life and hence make them a complete effective citizen. Pailan College of Management and Technology under the Pailan Group has been set up to meet the manpower training and knowledge up gradation needs of the industry. The college offers a platform to the students coming from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds to prepare themselves for the global market in terms of professional etiquette and conduct. The teachers are highly dedicated and professional in their knowledge domain. All the faculty and mentors have necessary special qualities that distinguish a good teacher - Patience and Understanding.
The Ultimate Workshop was a gateway for all the Engineering students of the college to gain valuable suggestions and mentorship from the expert laureates who were attending the workshop and to showcase their talent and gain the reputation of applause from the jury. All the speakers and mentors had interactive sessions with all the students who were present in the workshop.Students from different streams and sections of the college actively participated in each and every session and made the workshop a great hit.
