Selection and Counselling Procedure after ENAT M.Tech

ESPI National Admission Test (ENAT)is being conducted ever year for the admission to M.Tech course. The candidates can check the details related to selection and counselling procedure here.

Selection Procedure: -
General Category: Based on the marks obtained in ENAT M.Tech and the eligibility criteria for various programs, Manipal University will declare a common merit list which will be displayed on or before First week of May in the website.

Note: All students possessing valid GATE score will be given 10% additional marks and ranked in the merit list. Students with GATE score must enclose the photocopy of their GATE score card along with the Application Form. Without which the additional marks will not be awarded.

Foreign/NRI Category: A separate merit list of the applicants under the Foreign/NRI category will be prepared based on marks obtained at the qualifying examination and those selected for admission will be informed separately.

Counselling Process:
A) Come prepared for counselling:-
You should ensure that you fulfill the eligibility requirements given in below:-

• Documents Check Lists
• e-Hall Ticket
• 10th standard marks card for proof of date of birth
• Marks card of 10+2
• Conduct and Character certificate obtained on the School/College letter head/pad. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted
• Transfer certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate issued by the School/College. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted
• Four recent and identical passport size photographs and one stamp size photograph
• Fees: As applicable for the programme
• Copy of PAN card of parent
• Authorization letter if representative is attending on behalf of candidate
• One set of photocopies of all the above documents.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
You should have to produce the above mentioned original documents and one set of photocopies for verification.

B) On the day of counselling:-

• The physical presence of the you at the counselling is mandatory. If a you is prevented by unavoidable circumstances from being physically present for the counselling, he/she may authorize another individual to represent him/her at the counselling. Your representative must carry the authorization.
• Only you / your representative will be allowed into the counselling hall.
• You should fill the registration forms available at the registration counter.
• You will be called as per your MU-OET rank for document verification. The original documents will be returned back to the you after verification. The original documents should be submitted on the day of orientation. If you are Selected then you will be allotted seats according to your rank and number of seats available in the respective campus. It is mandatory you should pay the first year fees at the counselling. Manipal University will not entertain any requests for extension in this regard.
• Absence of the you or your representative at the indicated reporting time and date will result in the instantaneous forfeiture of any claim for a seat.
• The choice of course made by the you / your representative is final and binding and cannot be altered later under any circumstances.

C) After Admission:-

• Admission order and receipt/s for the payment made will be given to the you on completion of the admission process.
• You should fill the State Bank of India account opening form for combo ID card. The filled – in SBI account opening form should be submitted at the SBI counter. The combo card will function as university photo identity card, access control card, ATM and debit card. The combo card will not be issued if the account opening form is not submitted at the SBI counter.
• If you required hostel facility should report to chief warden of the allotted campus for hostel enrollment. Hostel will be allotted on payment of hostel fees only.
• You should report to the allotted college on or before the reporting date mentioned in the admission order.
