  • After allotment, the seat matrix will be displayed in counseling portal. You will be directed to visit the AUAT office to complete the verification and admission process within the time period.
  • If you fails to complete the admission process within the stipulated time period, then the allotment of the seat to you will be cancelled and the same seat will be offered for the other students next in rank.
  • You have to put the preference of your choice among the b.tech specializations programmes . The order of preference cannot be changed further.
  • The Online system will alloted to you according to your choices/preferences but on the basis of your rank in the AUAT exam. If you could not be allotted to your 1 st choice, then automatically you will be allotted to your second choice and so on. A candidate have to put minimum 1 choice/preference to maximum 6 choices/preferences can be put.

Example:

  • A Student has put Mechanical Engineering as the 1 choice, Int. BSc-MSc in Physics as the 2 choice, and Civil Engineering as the 3 choice. By online system, he/she will be allotted to the subject as per his/her rank in A01. If a candidate is so ranked, that he/she could not be allotted to Mechanical Engineering, then he/she will be allotted to BSc-MSc in Physics (If there are seats available). When the candidate will be called for document verification-cum admission process, then he/she has to take admission in Int. BSc-MSc in Physics. But, at any stage during counseling, if seats in Mechanical Engineering get vacant, then the candidate will be informed by SMS and email that he/she can be upgraded to the allotment to Mechanical Engineering, i.e. his/her 1 choice. The candidate has to again log in to the counseling portal for his/her consent. If he/she agreed for upgradation, the candidate has to visit again the University Admission Office on the date specified for cancellation of previous admission and re-allotment. The difference of admission fees will have to paid by the Student or if the paid amount is more than the course fee of the newly allotted course then the difference will be adjusted with the tuition fees for the next semester (whichever is applicable).
  • If a Student is determined about the programme to be studied, then it is advised to put only a single choice. As in the above example, if Student is determined to study Mechanical Engineering, then he should select only Mechanical Engineering as his/her first choice, and should not put more choices. So that, if he/she could not be allotted to Mechanical Engineering (even after creation of vacancy at a later stage of counselling), then the registration fees will be refunded to the candidates, as he/she will not be allotted to any other programme.
