Globally acclaimed mathematician Anand Kumar’s Super 30 continuing its victory march with an impressive result in its recently (JEE Advanced ) declared result while training underprivileged students.
Super 30 offer a residential training programme which Kumar started in 2002 for poor students free of cost. Anand Kumar was very excited and praised his all students for their hard works.
"All my students did a lot of hard work and they were completely focussed on their studies . These poor students hailing from marginal families are studying with lots of adversity. But all of them are totally dedicated and determined. My award is when I see the smile on the face of the students and parents . We are here like a family and I would like to convey my sincere thanks to these family members.” said Anand Kumar.
As soon as the result declared there was a jubilation amongst the students at Anand Kumar’s Meethapur residence in Patna.
But with the joy, there were some problems also . There was some relaxation though after the cut-offs – 75 for general category, 67 for other backwards classes and 38 for SC/ST – became apparent.
This year also most of the students who cleared the exam were from backwards areas.
“I will study in IIT and become an engineer. This is the greatest joy for me right now said ” Basant Kumar a student.
“I never dreamt of getting into an IIT. My parents are not aware of IIT, they only know ITI with their limited knowledge,” said another student.
