This was not the first time that Avinash devised a strategy for elections. Two years ago, he prepared the strategy of YSR Congress, Andhra Pradesh. It was his family’s political background and his interest in machinations of politics that motivated him to quit his job at HCL and campaign for YSR Congress at the time of the General Election 2014.
The same year, while he was visiting his wife in Arizona, he got the opportunity to campaign for Doug Ducey, Republican Party. With the thorough analysis of Avinash and his endless data crunching gained Ducey victory and he went on to become the Governor of Arizona. After that, he was promoted from data director to the Executive Director of the campaigning in Arizona.
After becoming the Executive Director, Avinash met Donald Trump. Witnessing the fall in Trump followers 45 days prior to the election, the team decided to come up with a new strategy and Avinash was part of the team that revised the strategy.
