A third-year student of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, Afaq Ahmed was declared the champion of the IEEE Maker Project. Ahmed is studying computer science at UEM.

The largest technical professional organization of the world, IEEE had announced an opportunity for the curious, inventive and creative students to come up with solutions for technology related problems. With a theme to help technology move forward, the organization introduced the annual IEEE Maker Project Competition in order to provide viable solutions.
Innovators and tech enthusiasts from all over the world participated in the competition in hopes to work with an IEEE member. Ahmed was one of these participants who not only came up with remarkable work but also got recognized for it.
Ahmed secured the first position in the event across the world and brought glory to his university. Teachers at UEM were proud of their student’s achievement at a globally recognized platform. The Gaming Console project of Ahmed was selected as the best project by IEEE.
Ahmed is an inspiration for the other students at UEM and has opened up a world of opportunities for his fellow students by winning the competition.
