UP Board Exams AI-Bots

UP Board Exams 2020 are most likely to be conducted with AI-Bots. Fed up of Corruption culture at class 10th and 12th examinations, UP Board was looking for alternatives from a long time. CBSE and Microsoft have partnered already to make this mission possible.

The UP Board of Examination is all set to make the state Board Examination corruption-free in the coming academic session 2020. To accomplish the same, officials have decided to introduce Aintrificail Intelligence Bots with the help of leading tech companies to make the existing education system of UP better.

AI-Bots Benefits

Incorporation of AI Bots at UP Board Examination centres for academic session 2020 will allow the authorities to trace the proxy teachers, invigilators and students at the time of examination. AI-Bots will also facilitate schools to evaluate a student's performance in the academic year by comparing previous grades, performance in-class tests and participation in activities. Upgradation of technology at the school level helps in better functioning of schools. Artificial Intelligence will be acting as a catalyst in improving the Indian educational institutes.

UP Board officials claim that the shortage of qualified teachers is one of the prime reason for the decline of education standard in UP due to which students look out for inadequate ways to complete their education.

Up Board Previous Steps to Curb Malpractices

Malpractices in UP examinations very common for years now. The UP government takes various steps every year to stop these practices. Some of them are

  • Earlier this year, UP Board took strict measures to stop malpractices of students as a result about 10 lakh students dropped out.
  • CCTV cameras were installed at examination centers and special task forces were deployed to guard the centers.
  • A 200-meter ban was put on outsiders at the examination centers

This step of UP Board might be a consequence of the partnership of Central Board of Secondary Education and Microsoft to hold capacity building programmes at the school level. Teachers of CBSE schools are likely to be trained in AI practices to introduce cloud-powered technologies at classrooms. All classes from Kindergarten to class 12th will be a part of this curriculum.
