Videos with Fake CBSE 2019 Question Papers Leaked on YouTube

A circular with the links containing CBSE fake question papers have been released in public interest. Board is keeping a check on it and FIRs have already been lodged with Delhi Police. 

Videos with Fake CBSE 2019 Question Papers Leaked on YouTube

Videos have been uploaded on YouTube claiming to have access to the original CBSE question papers for the upcoming Board exams. The videos which have been found on YouTube had the papers of Class 10 English and Social Science Paper and Economics paper of Class 12 which is scheduled on 27th March 2019.

Also, the Social science paper of class 10 is scheduled on 29th and the English paper was scheduled on 23rd March. The Central Board of Secondary Education complained about the fake videos with the URLs included in the complaint. Though the incident is not the first of its kind as in the previous year, many fake question papers of CBSE got circulated on social media.

CBSE has promised to be extra careful this year after the previous year fiasco. Earlier, the board had also filed two complains with the Delhi Police in the same note of fake question papers being leaked and circulated.

CBSE, in their circular, has said that this year the board has been extra alert for these incidents and will be keeping a check on any such activity so that it can be brought to the notice of the police. The board hopes that the guilty will soon be caught as per the Indian Penal Code’s IT acts. It has also appealed to the parents and students not to fall in the trap of these vicious act of paper leaks.

This is not only the case with CBSE but also the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Orissa’s all paper of 12th final examination was leaked on WhatsApp before the exams began. Jammers in examination centres did not come to any help.

The last phase of the CBSE Board examination dates 2019 will end on 29th March for Class 10 and 3rd April for Class 12.
