Philosophy department of MLSU (Mohan Lal Sukhadia University) informed about PhD completion of a student, recently he received a Doctorate Degree in Philosophy.
Udaipur’s MLSU student Mr. Vinod Kumar Bhatt has received the Degree of Doctorate of Philosophy in the faculty of Science from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU).
The PhD degree is received on the research subject “Green Synthesis of Some Naphthalene Derivatives”. He completed his thesis on above subject; his research objective was how green synthesis process effected Vinod Kumar Bhatt completed his research work under the guidance of well experienced faculty of Department of Philosophy in MLSU - Dr Sadhna Singh.
What is green synthesis & Naphthalene Derivatives: - Green synthesis or green chemistry also known as sustainable chemistry, it’s an area of chemistry and chemical engineering focused on the design of products and processes that minimize the use and generation of hazardous substances. Whereas, Naphthalene is an organic compound, it is the simplest polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, and is a white crystalline solid with a characteristic odor that is detectable at concentrations. It is in contrast to the behavior of phenyllithium.
As an aromatic hydrocarbon, Naphthalene’s structure consists of a fused pair of benzene rings. It is best known as the main ingredients of traditional mothballs.
