XLRI Jamshedpur and Xavier Institute of Management and Research (XIMR), Mumbai have signed an agreement to provide certificate management programme for aspiring working executives.
The tie-up between the two B-schools was announced recently. Through this new collaboration, the institutes will be offering Postgraduate Certificate in General Management (PGCGM). The 11-month long programme will be open for Working Executives. There will be four semesters in this course.
The fees for the programme is Rs. 4 lakh (plus taxes). Only those individuals who have graduated and have a work experience of at least two years will be considered eligible for this programme.

Skilled faculty members from XLRI and XIMR will be conducting sessions for this programme. The aim of the programme is to impart skills that working executives will find useful while performing the tasks related to their jobs.

It will also enable the participants in developing a universal perspective regarding Business Leadership and General Management, informed Programme Coordinator at XLRI, Prof Prantik Ray.
The candidates who want to learn business tools and techniques will find this programme highly effective. Also, the programme will help them understand the importance of decision making in the business world.
Induction for this programmes will be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, whereas, the classes will be conducted at XIMR, St. Xavier’s College Campus in Mumbai. Also, an ‘Open House’ session will be organised by XIMR, St. Xavier’s College regarding the same on July 30, 2017. On successfully completing the programme, students will be awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in General Management by XLRI. The sessions for this programme will be conducted on weekends and will include projects, case methods, lectures, group work, dissertation and assignments.
