The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh has released the counselling schedule for AP-POLYCET 2017 examination. AP-POLYCET 2017 counselling includes certificate verification, choosing web options, seat allotment and payment of course fee. The academic session for the year 2017-18 will begin from June 12, 2017.

Documents to Carry at the Time of Counselling: -

  • AP-POLYCET 2017 Hall Ticket
  • AP-POLYCET 2017 Rank card
  • Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Enrollment Slip
  • NCC Certificate (only for the candidates seeking admission under NCC quota)
  • Study Certificates from Class 6 to Class 10.
  • Income Certificate (Only reserved categories)
  • Caste Certificate (Only reserved categories)
  • Class 10 Hall Ticket
  • Class 10 Result Sheet

If there are any vacant seats, SBTET will conduct the second round of counselling. However, the schedule for second phase counselling will be released only after the first phase of counselling.

The candidates must note that the tuition fee at government polytechnic colleges is around Rs. 3,800. The tuition fee at private polytechnic colleges is around Rs. 12,500. Mostly, the candidates who secure a rank between 1 – 15,000 range might get a seat in government polytechnic colleges. However, some candidates in the above rank range prefer private polytechnic colleges also depending upon the transport facilities.
